Here’s a thought for you. I don’t think we Christians are wired to handle fame. I don't think we are wired in a way that gives us the ability to deal with stardom in a beneficial way. I think there is a very special and Biblical reason for this.
Self-awareness is something that’s very popular in our culture. So many strive to find the “real you” in order to be truly happy. Yet when I look in the mirror, I’m not always so happy about what I see staring back at me.
In a world that values and elevates the remarkable and exciting, the ordinary can seem to be something that is forgotten and looked down upon. Yet we Christians have every reason to love and look for the ordinariness in life.
