I thought I would give you all a treat this Friday to celebrate the upcoming weekend and give you some of my favorite songs.

I love music. I have loved music for as far back as I can remember. The Lord has used music to teach and encourage me on many occasions. Whether it’s though the message of the song or simply the musical talent of the artists, music has always been something that I gravitate toward and go to as a source of encouragement or enjoyment. Not that music itself is the source of my joy, but I do believe music can point us to Christ in a way that other things cannot.

God created music and He created us to enjoy music. He created music as a way that we can worship and love Him. He created music to stir emotion and joy in our hearts. There will be great music in Heaven and sometimes, I think I get to experience a very small taste of what that will be like when a song hits me in a certain way. I'm sure you all have a song like that. When that happens, give God glory for that awesome song. So here are 10 of my favorite songs of all time in no particular order. Please enjoy them as much as I do.
