The Dust Speck And The Hurricane

I thought I would take a break from the regular Monday Musings segment to share this awesome video I came across.

I personally know of no doctrine that brings more comfort than the doctrine of God’s sovereignty. Knowing that there is nothing that happens outside of God’s will is a great comfort to me. When trials hit, when I’m scared, when I don’t know what is going to happen, I can trust in a God that knows all and is in control of all things.

Every speck of dust that glitters in the sunlight is under the same sovereign will as the hurricane that rips through a coastline. He is in control and we can trust completely in Him. Everything that happens is supposed to happen and that is a comforting thought.
